Rajabirat Prasad
At the time of the establishment of the Pala kingdom, in the latter part of the eighth century (643-600 AD), a dynasty called the Deva dynasty ruled over Samatate in south-east Bengal. The Rajabirat in question belongs to the Deva dynasty and the city of Pundra. It is said that this royal palace was located in Gobindaganj upazila of Gaibandha about five thousand years before the composition of the Mahabharata.
Zamindar's house in Naldanga
The memory of Tulsi Lahiri, the famous playwright and filmmaker of the subcontinent, is entrenched in the history of Gaibandha district, the zamindar of Naldanga. Among the archeological specimens here are the Shivlinga of the almost ruined leprosy, the Sridarshan design with the white stone bull temple.
Zamindar house of Bamandanga
The present Bamandanga zamindar house is now a memorable historical landmark. Although this zamindar house is now abandoned, the house, kachari house, temple, prison can become a long-term social, political, economic signature. It is known from a plaque of the zamindar's house that it was built in 1252. There is a Shiva temple next to the house. Suniti Bala Devi has a kachari house but it is not worth seeing now.

Extension factory
From ancient times (now) Bardhankuthi under Gobindaganj upazila was an important administrative unit of the then kings. In the sixteenth century Guru Rampal built the Basudev temple here. At that time Raja Mansingh was the subaddar of Bengal. During the English period it became famous as a zamindar's house.
The historic Shah Sultan Ghazi Mosque in Mir's Garden
This is the oldest mosque located at Dariapur in the present Gaibandha district. According to the inscriptions on the front of the mosque, a religious figure named Syed Wazed Ali discovered and renovated the mosque in 1308 AD. Later the name of a religious warrior named Shah Sultan became associated with it. This mosque is known by his name. The shrine is located next to the Shah Sultan Mosque. At present fairs are held here every Baishakh month.
Bharatkhali Wood Temple (Kali Temple)
Bharatkhali Wood Temple (Kali Temple) is a place of pilgrimage for Hindus in the region. It is believed that the temple was built about two hundred years ago. There are legends surrounding this temple.
The temple is said to have been created from a burnt wood floating in the river Jamuna. The then zamindar Ramni Kant Roy got a dream order- I have come to the ghat, you worship me. When the king worshiped this wooden doll, from here it was transformed into an idol of Kali and became a regular form of worship. Legend has it that the daughter of the goddess came to visit the goddess at the Kali temple in Jamuna. A few years ago the river Jamuna was actually here but later the demolition from the temple stopped. After that, according to the instructions to give texts in the dream order, month-long textbooks are organized here every year on Boishakh. It is a place of worship for Hindus.
Mahimaganj Sugar Mill
Rangpur Sugar Mill was built in 1955 on 93 acres of land which is located in present day Gaibandha district Mahimaganj. After a long half-century, the mill closed in 2001 due to various adversities. Thousands of workers and about 30,000 sugarcane farmers became unemployed. The mill was reopened in 2006. Its annual production capacity is fifteen thousand mt.
Shivram Government Primary School
1918 AD: Shivram Government Primary School established. Located in Sundarganj Upazila, this school has been recognized as the best primary school in Bangladesh due to its special features. 1965 AD: The head of this institution was elected as the best headmaster at the national level. 2002 AD The school was selected as the best primary school at the national level. A total of 1232 residential and non-residential students are studying in this school.
Bhabaniganj Post Office
Today's journey started as a subdivision of Gaibandha district in Bhabaniganj village of Fulchhari. The activities of Bhabaniganj subdivision started on 26 August 1956 in the former Patiladah Pargana. However, after the declaration of the thana in 1853, attention was given to various administrative establishments. The post office was formed in continuation of this. Through which the people of this region became aware of modern correspondence.
