'Digital Bangladesh' is the motto of the present government's charter for change of days. Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has expressed her determination to build a digital Bangladesh with the aim of realizing the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to build a golden Bangladesh. 'Digital Bangladesh' is one of the 10 special initiatives of the Prime Minister.

 

Terrorism, communalism, militancy by expanding modern urban amenities in every village and transforming youth into valuable assets through "My Village-My City" and "Youth Power-Prosperity of Bangladesh" , The government is committed to building a drug and terror free society. Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has shown the dream of building a developed country, prosperous digital society, people of a digital age, transformed production system, new knowledge based society. Digital Bangladesh is basically the first step in establishing a knowledge-based society. In order to build this digital Bangladesh, the Support to Digital Bangladesh (A2I) program of the Prime Minister's Office has taken various initiatives and coordinated various digital initiatives to ensure that services reach the doorsteps of the people.

 

The nucleus of field administration is the office of the Deputy Commissioner. The role of the district administration is very important in fulfilling the aspirations of all the people of the country besides performing and coordinating all the executive functions of the government at the district level. Keeping this fact in mind, the prosperous Gaibandha District Web Portal has been set up to facilitate the coordination of all the activities of the district and to strengthen the relationship of the district administration with the people.

 

This web portal will play a significant role in ensuring the right to information of the people as well as making their services easier and less costly. Through this portal, district land revenue and land management, law and order, national and local elections, local government system, issue and renewal of various licenses, operation of mobile courts and various developmental works of the district will play a vital role in providing services to the beneficiaries at the earliest. .

 

In addition to information on civic services and development activities in the district, this web portal covers a wide range of Gaibandha history, heritage, literature, culture, abundance and potential. We want to introduce Gaibandha rasmanjuri, maize and chilli to the world.We want to embody the slogan "Smell of flavorful rosemary, corn-pepper in the char region is the lifeblood of Gaibandha". Teachers-students, researchers-tourists or any inquisitive person can find answers to their many questions about Gaibandha from this web portal.
